The situation in Ukraine is developing dynamically. While ten days ago there were reasons for rather great concern, today there are reasons to be optimistic and to believe that things are moving in the right direction, stated the Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajcak on Wednesday. He emphasized that the trend for today is positive. He added that a demarcation line has been agreed from which military equipment will be withdrawn and this is a fundamental precondition for a real ceasefire. Along with his colleagues from the Visegrad Group (a group gathering the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) Minister Lajcak is to visit Ukraine next week. "We want to show that for us as neighbours of Ukraine it is important what is happening in this country," Lajcak said.
