Wages in public administration to go slightly up

Representatives of employees in the state and public service signed two high-level collective agreements for 2015 with representatives of employers. Head of the Slovak Cabinet Office stated that for around 380,000 employees in the state and public service salaries will go up by 1.5 percent from the beginning of next year and by further 1 percent from July next year. On the other hand salaries of constitutional officials will not grow again next year. President Andrej Kiska signed on Wednesday a freeze on salaries of politicians, public officials and judges.
