The oil pipeline connecting Slovakia and Austria named the Bratislava - Schwechat pipeline (BSP) made it on the list of European projects of common interest. This list which gathers regional projects in the area of the energy, gas and oil industry was approved by the European Commission.
The project is to be jointly realised by Transpetrol and OMV. Slovakia’s Economy Minister Tomáš Malatinský considers this an important step and a confirmation of the decisions made on the project so far.
