Around a thousand people gathered in Košice on Friday at a protest against corruption in health care and in support of demands presented by organizers of earlier protests in Bratislava. The gathering took place under the title "Don't Let 17 November Be Taken from Us". Protest organiser MP Alojz Hlina reminded the crowd that the series of protests began in Kosice earlier this month by a demonstration in front of the house of the at that time parliamentary chairman Pavol Paška. "Paška has resigned, but this isn't enough. We have to stop corruption not only in health care, but also in public life," said Hlina.
