The number of personal bankruptcies declared in the second quarter of this year reached 84, an annual increase of almost 50%, according to data published by CRIF - Slovak Credit Bureau (SCB) that manages credit registers for financial companies.
With a total of 174 cases, the first half of this year has been the “richest” in personal bankruptcies since 2006. Banská Bystrica and Bratislava top the chart with Kosice being at the bottom.
