According to Site Selection magazine and its “Global Best to Invest Report”, Slovakia is the most attractive country in Central Europe for foreign enterprises. The list is based on announced projects, invested capital, the total number of established jobs and the number of new jobs per inhabitant.
“Slovakia is an ideal investment destination mainly because of its political & economic stability strengthened by the common European currency, competitive taxation system tax, availability of a highly skilled and educated workforce offering the highest labour productivity in the CEE region with favourable labour costs,” writes the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) on its website.
