Slovakia’s industry maintained moderate year-on-year growth in May. As the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday after adjusting for working days, industrial output in May was higher by 2.6 percent than the same period a year ago. From individual components of industry, the highest annualised growth occured in mining and quarrying by 7.6 percent, followed by industrial manufacturing which grew by 2.8 percent.
