The meeting aimed to critique the Beneš Decrees held in the European Parliament on Tuesday (July 9) was “weird”, European and Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák stated on Wednesday. According to Lajčák, such a course of action resembles conquering a door that already stands open, as Slovakia and Hungary have been enjoying an open dialogue on all issues for quite some time. "So there's no need to replace the dialogue between the two states with some form of dialogue in the European Parliament."
