Peter Šperka and Anton Dobeš are the names of the two Slovak mountaineers who were killed in a terrorist attack under the peak of Nanga Parbat in Pakistan on Saturday, 22 June. The governmental aircraft with the bodies of victims landed in Slovakia on Saturday early morning. Initially, the corpses were carried by a Pakistani plane, however, this had to land in Ukraine because of technical difficulties.
The Slovak Interior Minister, Robert Kaliňák, shortly after the landing stated that the terrorists attacked in a cowardly manner. At the airport, mountain rescuers came to give honor to the bodies of the victims. The Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry will require punishment for the murders of two Slovak mountaineers in a Taliban attack in Pakistan, said Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák on televised political debate on Sunday.
