Brazilian Foreign Minister First Time in Slovakia, More Visits to Follow

The Brazilian defense minister along with a group of Brazilian businessmen will visit Slovakia by the end of the year, while Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and a business delegation will go to Brazil in the first half of next year, Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák and his Brazilian counterpart Antonio Patriota said on Sunday. Patriota has become the first Brazilian foreign affairs minister to pay an official visit to Slovakia in the 20 years of its independence. "We're interested in extending the economic presence of Brazil in Slovakia," said Miroslav Lajčák. As a gift, Patriota brought Lajčák a Brazilian football kit with the signatures of all the players.
