Slovakia’s old debts worth $1.7 million from the days of Communism have now been paid, and other debts from the same era against Finland, the Czech Republic, and Montenegro are to be paid in full by the end of this year according to a report from Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency.
The agency announced that in accordance with intergovernmental agreements, Russia has paid Slovakia’s debts in the form of manufactured goods and financial resources.
