Slovakia’s Interior Ministry has set up a dedicated helpline ahead of Saturday’s combined regional and local elections. Voters can call 0961 577 166 or 0961 577 167 for assistance. The lines are available from eight a.m. to three p.m. until Friday, and from seven a.m. to eight p.m. on election day. The service is intended for voters, not the media.
A separate helpline, operated by the State Commission for Elections, will also be available on Saturday for voters and lower-level election commissions. Its number is 0961 577 165.
Meanwhile, police have reminded foreign nationals that they can vote in the elections if they meet the legal requirements, including holding valid permanent residence in Slovakia and a residence document confirming that status.
