Slovakia has joined the European Open Science Cloud Federation, with its national hub now officially operational. The move gives Slovak scientists and researchers easier access to research data, digital services and computing resources across Europe, opening up new opportunities for international cooperation.
The Slovak hub connects the capacities of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information and selected Slovak universities. It will support research in areas including climate change, infectious diseases, cancer and the use of artificial intelligence in science. The wider European network includes 28 national, thematic and infrastructure hubs, alongside a central EU node, linking 218 research organisations across Europe.
