Slovak director Tereza Nvotová completed filming a six-part miniseries titled Our People, focusing on the 2018 murders of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová.
The project was completed after three years of work with support from Czech Television, HBO and public broadcasters in Germany and France. The families of Kuciak and Kušnírová were also involved in preparations. The miniseries is expected to premiere next year, ahead of Slovakia’s parliamentary election.
