Sexual violence and the trafficking in women or children require a decisive response from public authorities and society alike, Prosecutor-General (PG) Maroš Žilinka posted on social media in connection with the International Day Against Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking of Women and Children that is observed on 23 September.
"Sexual violence and the trafficking in women and children represent the most serious assault on human dignity and humanity. Such acts of inhumanity require a decisive response from public authorities and society as a whole," wrote Žilinka.
