The Slovak tennis team defeated Greece 3–2 in a Davis Cup World Group I tie held at the National Tennis Center in Košice. Norbert Gomboš secured the victory for the home team by beating Stefanos Sakellaridis in straight sets, 6–4, 7–5, in the final singles match. With the win, Slovakia secured a place in the qualifiers for the 2027 Davis Cup Finals.
