Opposition parties 'Za ludi', SaS, PS, KDH and non-parliamentary 'Democrats' have issued a joint statement rejecting the government's planned public-private partnership (PPP) project for renovating irrigation systems, calling instead for a national renovation programme funded by EU funds. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the opposition representatives warned of the risk that critical water infrastructure will be privatised.
