Nippon Steel will modernize the Košice steelworks. The plant's new owner and the Minister of the Environment have signed documents regarding financial contributions for the decarbonisation of steel production. According to the Value for Money division, this represents one of the largest industrial investments in recent decades; it will enhance the plant's competitiveness and reduce emissions.
