Bratislava will host the international regional release of the PISA 2025 results on September 8. The event will bring together representatives from 31 countries across Central, Eastern and Northern Europe and Central Asia. Education Minister Tomáš Drucker (Hlas-SD) said hosting the event was a great honor and significant recognition for Slovakia. Drucker noted that this will be the first regional presentation of PISA results specifically for countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He said the event reflects international recognition of the importance of the region, as well as the ongoing reforms in Slovakia’s education system.
The minister said he could not predict how Slovak students would perform in the PISA 2025 assessment. The event follows last year’s OECD World Forum on Artificial Intelligence in Education, which was held in Bratislava and was attended by representatives of the OECD, UNESCO, the European Commission, technology companies and ministers from several countries.
