Government Takes Cabinet Session to Central Slovakia

The Slovak government held its latest away session on Thursday in the village of Kriváň, in the Detva district. Ministers, lawmakers, and local leaders will discuss the economic and social challenges facing the Lučenec, Revúca, Brezno, and Detva districts, with a focus on investment, infrastructure, and industry - from engineering in Detva to tourism around Brezno. The Government Office says the goal is to give people reasons to stay, work, and do business in the regions. A second away session follows Friday in Hliník nad Hronom, covering the Veľký Krtíš, Krupina, Žiar nad Hronom, and Zvolen districts - timed to coincide with the restart of aluminium production at the Slovalco plant.
