The government is expected to convene an extraordinary meeting in early September to discuss measures related to drought and the impacts of climate change. The Prime Minister announced that the meeting would take place in Nitra prior to the opening of the Agrokomplex exhibition. Agriculture Minister Richard Takáč plans to present a proposal there to establish an inter-ministerial expert group to support the agricultural sector.
