Slovak Television and Radio, STVR, is launching Audio STVR, a new audio platform offering original content free of charge and without advertising. It will provide more than one million minutes of content and live broadcasts from Slovak Radio services.
The platform will cover news, education, culture, music, regional content and entertainment, including material unavailable on commercial platforms because of licensing restrictions.
At launch, listeners will have access to 345 programme and podcast series, representing almost 100,000 episodes, as well as more than 300 fairy tales and legends for children.
STVR says the platform will be continuously expanded and will also help make Slovakia’s national cultural heritage more accessible. Users will be able to save content as favourites, create listening lists, view playback history and continue listening across different devices.
