SNS Chairman Andrej Danko says he supports a potential agreement between himself and Environment Minister Tomáš Taraba. However, the SNS leader noted that communication between them is faltering. Consequently, he insists that current State Secretary Filip Kuffa should become the new head of the Environment Ministry.
Speaking on JOJ 24 television, Danko also remarked that his nominee, Tomáš Taraba, had not originally ruled out a move into diplomacy, even though the Environment Minister denied this just a few days ago.
According to Danko, the agreement on who will lead the ministry—which falls under the SNS's purview—will also influence negotiations on next year's budget.
