Juraj Slafkovský has been named Slovakia’s Hockey Player of the Year for the fourth time, winning the award for the third consecutive year. He also received the prize for Slovakia’s best forward. Martin Fehérváry finished second overall and was named Slovakia’s best defenceman. Slafkovský had his best NHL season so far with the Montreal Canadiens, scoring 30 goals and 43 assists in 82 games. He also helped Slovakia finish fourth at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, scoring four goals and four assists.
Vladimír Országh was named Coach of the Year, while Samuel Hlavaj won best goalkeeper for the third year in a row. Nela Lopušanová was named Slovakia’s best female hockey player. Former national team coach Craig Ramsay and ex-forward Michal Handzuš were also inducted into the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame.
