Slovakia has advanced to the semi-finals of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup under-18 ice hockey tournament.
The team finished second in its group after defeating Switzerland 6–2 and will now face the United States.
Tomáš Selič scored four goals and added two assists against Switzerland. He is currently the tournament's leading scorer with five goals and three assists.
It is Slovakia's first semi-final appearance since 2021.
