Slovak Television and Radio is opening a special exhibition to celebrate 100 years of radio broadcasting and 70 years of television broadcasting in Slovakia.
The exhibition opens to the public on August 3rd at the Slovak Radio building in Bratislava and will run until November 3rd.
Divided into three sections, it presents the history of Slovak radio and television, displays historic broadcasting equipment and features well-known children's characters.
Visitors can also use an audio guide available in ten languages, including Romani and Rusyn. The recordings were produced by journalists from minority-language editorial teams and Radio Slovakia International without the use of artificial intelligence.
According to Slovak Radio Director Peter Janků, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to reflect on a century of broadcasting history in the iconic inverted pyramid building.
