Former justice ministers Mária Kolíková (SaS) and Viliam Karas (KDH) disagree over the state of preparations for Slovakia's planned criminal justice reform. Karas, of KDH, says the proposal was incomplete and lacked sufficient expert consensus. Kolíková, of SaS, argues that the reform underwent proper preparation and public consultation. The reform was ultimately abandoned after the change of government.
