Bratislava will once again transform into historic Pressburg this weekend during the Bratislava Coronation Days festival, which will commemorate Empress Maria Theresa, one of Europe’s most notable historical figures. The programme begins on Friday evening at Tyršovo nábrežie with historical performances, period entertainment and a knightly tournament ahead of Saturday’s ceremonial coronation. Families with children can also enjoy historical games and interactive shows among others.
