Slovakia Backs Joint EU Action Against Organised Crime

The Slovak Interior Ministry supports stronger cooperation at the EU level in the fight against organised crime. The issue was discussed at an informal meeting of EU interior ministers in Dublin, attended by State Secretary Lucia Kurilovská.

Slovakia argues that cooperation with third countries should be coordinated through the Team Europe framework, which would strengthen the EU’s negotiating position. Bratislava also supports a targeted visa policy for nationals of countries posing security risks and calls for broader information sharing with trusted partner states, particularly in migration management, border protection and crime prevention.
