The 59th annual Folklore Festival Poľana in Detva culminated on Sunday with a final open air gala program. The last day of the festival featured the program Family, which was part of the 51st Ex-Pats' Sunday. It brought together individuals and families who have made significant contributions to the development and preservation of Slovak folklore around the world while maintaining ties to their roots. Slovak folklore ensembles living abroad introduced guests from Serbia, Croatia, France, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania.
