Slovak police officers deployed in Croatia for the summer holiday season have already helped several Slovak tourists. Police said they assisted a cyclist who was injured near Zadar Airport and needed help locating his bicycle, as well as a tourist who lost her wallet on the way to Croatia. Officers also provided guidance to a Slovak driver involved in a collision with an animal on the island of Krk. Eight Slovak police officers will serve in Croatia in two rotations throughout the summer, with four officers on duty at a time in popular tourist areas.
