Slovakia's young sprint canoeists have returned from the Junior and Under-23 World Championships in Halifax, Canada, with five medals, including three golds.
The latest success came from Romana Švecová and Juraj Kukučka, who claimed bronze in the Under-23 mixed K1 5,000-metre event.
The Under-23 women's K4 crew successfully defended its world title in the 500 metres after repeating last year's victory. Team member Bianka Sidová also won gold in the K1 500 metres.
A third gold medal was secured by junior paddler Alex Gavlider, who triumphed in the K1 200 metres. Gavlider also teamed up with Jakub Bartolčič to win silver in the K2 500 metres.
The five-medal haul marks another strong performance for Slovakia at the international championships.
