Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) held separate meetings with the Swiss ambassador, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in Slovakia, and Bulgaria's newly appointed ambassador. The talks focused on strengthening economic cooperation, investment, research and innovation, as well as political dialogue. Blanár highlighted the strong trade relationship with Switzerland and welcomed continued Swiss support for projects in education, healthcare and environmental protection. During his meeting with the Bulgarian ambassador, the ministers discussed expanding cooperation in trade, energy and education, as well as EU enlargement and Slovakia's priorities during its presidency of the Visegrad Group.
