More than 4.3 million Slovak citizens are eligible to vote in Saturday's referendum, according to the Statistical Office. More than 112,000 young people will be able to cast their vote for the first time. The referendum includes two questions. Voters will decide whether to abolish lifetime pensions for senior politicians and whether to restore the Office of the Special Prosecutor and the National Crime Agency. The petition calling for the vote was initiated by the extra-parliamentary party Demokrati. According to the Statistical Office, people aged 31 to 64 make up the largest group of eligible voters, while more than one million seniors are also entitled to take part in the vote.
