The government has approved more than 3.3 million euros for municipalities and organizations in northeastern Slovakia during a cabinet meeting in Malcov.
The funding will support healthcare, transport infrastructure, cultural heritage and regional development projects in the districts of Bardejov, Levoča, Snina and Poprad.
Among the largest allocations are funding for medical equipment in regional hospitals and support for local infrastructure projects. The government also approved 80,000 euros for the Rock pod Kameňom music festival in Snina.
In addition, ministries received more than 30 tasks aimed at improving healthcare, tourism, transport and economic development in the region.
