The Environment Ministry is recommending closer cooperation with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the exploration of critical minerals.
According to the ministry, both countries possess significant mineral resources that could help strengthen European supply chains and reduce dependence on imports.
The proposed cooperation would focus on geological research, data exchange, education and joint scientific projects. The ministry says such partnerships could strengthen Slovakia’s position within European initiatives on critical raw materials.
