The Slovak Catholic Mission in Rome will have a new leader from July. Patrik Mitura, a priest from the Diocese of Spiš, will take over the position from Father Peter Olas, who is returning to Slovakia after completing his studies.
Mitura has been studying institutional social communication at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome since last year.
The mission, which recently marked twenty years of activity, serves Slovaks living in Rome and visiting pilgrims by providing religious services in the Slovak language.
