Poprad Airport to Offer Record Number of Summer Charter Flights

The summer charter flights season has kicked off at Poprad Airport. According to executive director Jan Pitonak passengers can now enjoy the largest selection of flights in the airport's history. The first 230 holidaymakers departed for Monastir, Tunisia on Tuesday (2 June). During the summer season, the airport expects to see more than 150 charter flights to the most popular destinations, such as Turkey, Bulgaria and Tunisia, with Greece coming back after a ten-year hiatus. Moreover, a new charter connection to Cyprus will be launched, while the route to Tel Aviv has been resumed after seven years.
