NATO’s multinational exercise Strong Lineage 26 concluded a public demonstration day at the Lešť Training Centre on Thursday. Spanish General Luis Sáez Rocandio described the exercise as a key milestone for NATO’s collective defence and deterrence efforts on the alliance’s eastern flank. The drill brought together troops and equipment from several allied countries to test the operational readiness of the Spanish-led NATO battlegroup in Slovakia. According to the Slovak Armed Forces, the exercise is part of NATO’s efforts to achieve full operational capability of its multinational brigade in the region.
