Slovak police officers will once again be deployed to Croatia during the summer tourist season to assist Slovak holidaymakers.
The deployment is part of long-standing cooperation between Slovakia and Croatia in the areas of security and tourist protection.
According to police spokesperson Roman Hájek, eight officers will serve in Croatia in two separate rotations. Four officers will be on duty in July, followed by another four in August.
Their role will be to help Slovak citizens deal with various situations that may arise during their holidays and to provide assistance in communication with local authorities when needed.
