Slovak Foreign Minister to Hold Talks in Iceland

Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár (SMER-SD) stays in Iceland on Tuesday and Wednesday for bilateral talks aimed at strengthening political relations and exploring new areas of cooperation. In Reykjavik, Blanár is set to meet Iceland’s Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir to discuss European and international issues, security, NATO cooperation, and Iceland’s relations with the European Union. He will also hold talks with President Halla Tómasdóttir and the head of the Icelandic parliament’s foreign affairs committee. His programme also includes meetings with Slovak community representatives in Iceland and Bishop Dávid Tencer of the Reykjavik diocese.
