The bill on pro-growth measures should be ready next week, but before it's approved at a government session, it will be discussed in its legislative form by the social partners at a tripartite meeting, according to Economy Minister Denisa Sakova and Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Minister Erik Tomáš (both Hlas-SD).
"Work on the measures is underway. The legislative changes will be combined into a single bill, dubbed the Pro-growth Measures Act. We plan to have the bill ready next week. Naturally, it will also be submitted to the social partners for discussion at the Slovak Economic and Social Council (HSR) so that they can review the specific legislative proposals before they are addressed by the government at its session," specified Sakova.
She noted that a second package of pro-growth measures with a substantial impact on public finances will be addressed in September when the 2027 state budget is prepared.
