Slovakia is participating in NAFSA 2026, the most prestigious and largest international higher education event, currently taking place in Orlando. Slovakia is represented by 12 universities and 28 academic representatives. While at the event, Slovak Education Minister Tomáš Drucker held discussions with major U.S. institutions, including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the University of Florida, and NASA partners, focusing on student exchanges, AI cooperation, aerospace education, and nuclear research programs. Slovakia has already established numerous international academic partnerships through recent education fairs and agreements.
