Experts, educators and employers met in Trnava on Tuesday, May 26, to discuss how modern technologies such as drones, robotics and artificial intelligence could be introduced into vocational secondary schools. According to Ján Machyniak from the Slovak Drone Alliance, the goal was to connect education more closely with labour market demands among others.
The Slovak Drone Alliance says industries including logistics, security and energy increasingly require skills linked to autonomous systems and digital technologies. Organizers also presented a new online educational programme and a cooperation memorandum focused on innovation and technical education.
