An international NATO military exercise, Strong Lineage 2026, is getting underway in Slovakia. Over the coming weeks, training will take place at the Lešť and Kamenica nad Cirochou military areas. Slovak Armed Forces spokesperson Štefan Zemanovič says nearly 3,000 NATO troops and more than 400 military vehicles from Spain and the Czech Republic will take part. Authorities are warning drivers to expect increased military convoys on Slovak roads and are urging the public to follow instructions from military police for safety reasons.
