On Friday, May 15, a ceremonial send-off was held at the base of the 52nd Airborne Battalion of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic in the village of Jamník, Liptovský Mikuláš District, (May 15). A ceremonial roll call was held to mark the departure of members of the Slovak Armed Forces for the third rotation of the NATO KFOR international military operation in Kosovo. 42 professional soldiers are deploying to the operation, 27 of whom are members of the Special Operations Forces.
