Filip Lajčiak, a high school student from the Secondary Industrial School in Dubnica nad Váhom, achieved success at the Regeneron ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) 2026, a global science and engineering competition for high school students held in the United States. He won first place in his category for a project involving a stereoscopic 3D scanning system designed to capture microscopic samples.
