Students across Slovakia are set to take the in-school portion of their graduation exams in the coming weeks, with the oral part scheduled to run from May 18 to June 5 at individual high schools.
Regional school administration offices set the specific dates based on proposals from school principals. “The make-up and retake dates for the oral portion of the internal part of the final exam will be held in September or February of the following school year,” confirmed the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic.
The choice of retake date depends on each student’s situation. Students who plan to retake the oral exam in September must register by June 30, while those opting for the February date must register by September 30. If a student needs to retake the entire final exam, they may do so only during the regular March exam period and within three years of completing their studies.
