Presidents of the Slavkov Format, also known as the Austerlitz Format, met in Bratislava on Tuesday for talks focused on regional security, energy and innovation. Slovak President Peter Pellegrini hosted Czech President Petr Pavel and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen at the second presidential-level S3 summit.
The programme began at Devín Castle with a ceremonial welcome and wreath-laying at the Gate of Freedom memorial. The leaders then continued discussions aboard a boat on the Danube before moving to the Danubiana modern art museum in Čunovo. Talks focused on foreign policy coordination, regional energy security, crisis resilience, cross-border infrastructure, and the impact of artificial intelligence on education, including online risks facing young people. The summit also featured student innovation projects from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria.
