Slovak ice hockey chief Miroslav Šatan has confirmed he plans to seek another term as president of the Slovak Ice Hockey Association.
Šatan praised the successful organization of the recent Under-18 World Championship in Slovakia, where the national team won silver medals. He described the tournament as proof that Slovakia can successfully host major international events.
Šatan also confirmed that Slovakia intends to bid to host the Under-20 World Championship in the future, adding that the recent tournament exceeded expectations both organizationally and competitively.
